PBYLC - Covid-19 Protocols

                 Pine Bush Youth Lacrosse Club Covid-19 Protocols

We will be following these protocols below for the 2021 Season unless directed to modify these protocols by USLacrosse or New York State. All protocols are based on recommendations and or requirements from both entities.

 

Players:

  • Should arrive dressed and ready to play. No changing on the sidelines. This includes all equipment and cleats. Bags can be brought to carry water bottles and other necessities but need to be spaced out on the sideline.

  • Should stop at the table and sanitize their hands on the way into practice.

  • Should not share equipment, water bottles, towels, Etc.

  • Should wear masks when not practicing or playing. Masks can also be worn when practicing and playing are not required( parental discretion).

  • Minimize the use of bathrooms (  please have the child go before coming to practice). 

 

Coaches:

  • Masks must be worn at all times.

  • Attendance must be taken.

  • Should stop at the table and sanitizer hands on the way into practice.

  • Clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces and equipment ( including balls and cones)

  • Ensure social distancing of players where applicable.

 

Parents/Spectators:    

 

  • Masks must be worn at all times.

  • For Practices:  Parents are asked to stay in the car or in the park. Parents are not permitted near practice fields, social distancing is required.

  • For Games: Parents are asked to sit in designated parent viewing areas only.  social distancing is required.

  •  No more than 2 Spectators per player at practices or games. We are still limited to 50% capacity as per New York State.

  • Wipe down or sanitize your child's equipment in between games/practice,

  • Minimize the use of bathrooms.

 

For all Players, Parents, Spectators, and Coaches

  • Stay home if you're feeling sick or experiencing covid-19 symptoms.

Registration Numbers are looking GREAT!!!!  Looking for more Girls and Boys Players. We Need More Girl Players of ALL Ages.  Please Spread the Word, Our Players are the Best Recruiters.

Still no word on start dates or anything, but with the amount of interest shown we will have a program this year for all ages.  If we don't have enough for team play we will run an intramural program and do our best to schedule scrimmages with other teams in the same situations.

Please register to show intent, if you are new to the sport please contact us with any questions, please don't let equipment cost from keeping someone off the field.  We can help find equipment for you.  We have a Great Club, people are always willing to share and help one and another.

Anyone wishing to volunteer or help coach please contact us.

 Registration is open.  We are looking to field teams for K-2, 3/4, 5/6, and 7/8 - both boys and girls across the entire Pine Bush School District.  The season begins in early Spring and the regular season ends Mid June. 

  Multiple player discounts are given for siblings.  USLacrosse Membership is required for ALL players and uniforms and equipment are extra.
